“Without bread, there is no more life” said Gerard Vigot, upon learning that his home town remaining bakery located in La Chapelle-En-Juger France was closing.
Local bakeries are the heart of every community worldwide. Not only is FTB a bakery, but a full-service breakfast, lunch and street-food dinner “Paris style” establishment. The classic and, until recently, pretty much only acceptable French street food, the baguette sandwich is the go-to casse-croûte (i.e. “snack”) of romantic lovers, busy office-types and starving students. To taste France’s favorite sandwich, the jambon-beurre, done right, head to French Toast Bakery where the bread is freshly baked on premises, with the highest quality butter, and the best Boars Head Ham matching any jambon de Paris, (yes, I said it).
At FTB you’ll find grilled-cheese sandwiches to rival the best your mom ever griddled up. Our classic French Grilled Cheese sandwiches, the Monte Cristo, Turkey Croque Madame, Croque Monsieur, Ham Gruyere Cheese, are spectacular. No grilled cheese experience is complete without having our own on-premise made delicious chicken soup, and we have that too.
FTB is where people can meet one another, chitchat, gossip, bring their laptop, while our kitchen serves our customers, delicious French toast, omelets, pancakes, coffee, sandwiches, croissants, baguettes and various other pastries.
